Increase Your Income With Article Marketing

When I first started my online business, I had no idea how to drive traffic to my website. After building the site, I went ahead and put it up on the Internet waiting for the flood of Buyers to come in. What I found was that nobody came to my grand opening. At that time, I had never heard about article submission sites or article marketing~It was a quiet day when we set up our website and found there to be zero traffic waiting to beat down our doors. It was then a friend told me about article marketing and said I needed to read some article submission site reviews and learn about article marketing}. What we didn’t know was how to get people to come and look at our products and services we had to offer.

This is a common problem facing many new and established online businesses needing to make extra money. What all Website owners learn quickly is that they need traffic to their website to get the word out about their products or services or they will risk losing everything. You need to find ways to promote your Website, so start by doing a keyword search with the phrases “article marketing” and “traffic generation”. The information you find will get you off to a good start driving traffic to your new site.

Promoting yourself cheaply and effectively can be done by article marketing. It takes little time to put together an article if you are inexperienced but here are some tips to write good articles in a short amount of time.

Go ahead and type in the keywords relating to your product or services into a search engine. Start with ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and forums etc. Find an article with a good title and start reading. If you like what you are reading, then, spend some time and jot down a few of the key points in that article.

Don’t underestimate the importance of your Title. Use keywords that describe your product or service in your title. Using the points from the article, go ahead and begin writing in your own words about the product or service you want to put in your article. You know what it is that you are selling, so go ahead and be a little creative making sure to use the key words that will help when people are searching for that on the internet.

Now that your first article is written, it’s time to get it distributed to hundreds of other places. To do this use a good article directory. These are some good places to start. They are articledashboard.com, goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com, articlesbase.com. You can also use programs to send out your article to thousands of directories at once.

Every article your write should have links back to your site. This will help you climb up through the search engine rankings, bringing you more and more traffic as your site gets more popular. Use keywords in your title and use phrases that will catch people’s attention. This will help lure potential customers to your website.

Article Marketing isn’t rocket science. All it takes is a few article each week and you can boost the traffic coming to your website in a short amount of time

Search Engines Are Getting Smarter, Add Free Content To Build Your Ranking

Finding free articles to put on your website does many things to help you with search engine rankings.  First off, free web content articles provide direct niche content that your viewers are always looking for.Using article directorys allows you to add lots of pages of information to your site, which will also have the side benefit of keeping viewers around longer.I cannot really see many circumstances where more quality content would ever hurt a site – almost every scenario it is better.Having a bunch of additional content allows you to broaden out your target keywords and pull in more page views.

One of the best things to remember when creating articles is to tailor them to be as specific to your site content as possible. If you have a site about gardening and tools – you dont want information non related to gardening, it just does not really make sense.  Often the addition of a blog to a site about the niche is a great addition, as you can post all the articles you find interesting to this blog.It is very easy to do, and its free as well.  If you build your site up enough, people will start bookmarking it as a great source of information AND a good place to buy stuff they need.  The whole key is to make it interesting to yourself and others so it expands use of your website. If you don’t want to add a blog, you can also just add an RSS feed from a few niche sites to automatically update content on your site.  This is a viable option if you don’t have the time or resources to update content every few days and/or scour the web for the content.Blogs by others, or an article directory are often a terrific source of web content, all of which you can pull in using an RSS feed. One of the benefits to using RSS feeds is they automatically pull the content to your site whenever the source adds information.

No matter if you use a blog addition, RSS feed, or simply post the articles yourself, this will equate to higher search engine rankings in the long haul because you are increasing the quality of your site.  This also will hurt the sites that have used black hat methods to get Google ranking, as most likely they dont have that much content of any kind – their hurt is your gain.  Using an article directory is a must have for those looking to build up the back links to their websites.
