Increase Your Income With Article Marketing

When I first started my online business, I had no idea how to drive traffic to my website. After building the site, I went ahead and put it up on the Internet waiting for the flood of Buyers to come in. What I found was that nobody came to my grand opening. At that time, I had never heard about article submission sites or article marketing~It was a quiet day when we set up our website and found there to be zero traffic waiting to beat down our doors. It was then a friend told me about article marketing and said I needed to read some article submission site reviews and learn about article marketing}. What we didn’t know was how to get people to come and look at our products and services we had to offer.

This is a common problem facing many new and established online businesses needing to make extra money. What all Website owners learn quickly is that they need traffic to their website to get the word out about their products or services or they will risk losing everything. You need to find ways to promote your Website, so start by doing a keyword search with the phrases “article marketing” and “traffic generation”. The information you find will get you off to a good start driving traffic to your new site.

Promoting yourself cheaply and effectively can be done by article marketing. It takes little time to put together an article if you are inexperienced but here are some tips to write good articles in a short amount of time.

Go ahead and type in the keywords relating to your product or services into a search engine. Start with ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com and forums etc. Find an article with a good title and start reading. If you like what you are reading, then, spend some time and jot down a few of the key points in that article.

Don’t underestimate the importance of your Title. Use keywords that describe your product or service in your title. Using the points from the article, go ahead and begin writing in your own words about the product or service you want to put in your article. You know what it is that you are selling, so go ahead and be a little creative making sure to use the key words that will help when people are searching for that on the internet.

Now that your first article is written, it’s time to get it distributed to hundreds of other places. To do this use a good article directory. These are some good places to start. They are articledashboard.com, goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com, articlesbase.com. You can also use programs to send out your article to thousands of directories at once.

Every article your write should have links back to your site. This will help you climb up through the search engine rankings, bringing you more and more traffic as your site gets more popular. Use keywords in your title and use phrases that will catch people’s attention. This will help lure potential customers to your website.

Article Marketing isn’t rocket science. All it takes is a few article each week and you can boost the traffic coming to your website in a short amount of time

Traffic Building Software

Let’s face it, we all want more web site traffic and will do
just about anything to get it and that’s where it all starts to
go wrong!

Do you really think that a new software marketing product will
do it all for you, well it may work for so long but when the
search engines find out that’s it back to square one unless you
choose the right Marketing Software.

So how do you get started simple, roll up your sleeves
and get busy, articles are by far the best way to get backlinks
to your site and increase your web site traffic and your page
rank.

Let me give you an example of how this works, and trust me it
works a treat to get more web site traffic

Let’s say you write an article called “getting web site traffic”
just like this one, don’t worry how long it takes you to write
the article just do it! your own content is best.

Next I will upload the article to my web site, then submit the
article to the top article directories with software where
people will be looking for new unique content for their sites.
This is where it starts to get interesting, my site has say a
page rank 2 but the article directories that I have submitted
the article to may have a page rank 3-4 maybe even 5 and that’s
the whole point of this.

At this point three things happen!

1) Next time the search engines index the article directories
say 20 to 50 of them depending on how many you submitted your
article to, you now have 20 to 50 back links to your site from a
site with a page rank 4 or better that’s enough to take your
site from a PR2 to PR3 which will move all your pages of your
web site up in the rankings and increase your web site traffic.

2) The Article that you wrote may not do well on your site, But
that’s because your site does not have a good PR.

I have had Articles that I have submitted to the top ranking
directories, placed in the top three listings with the search
engines for weeks and send me loads of web site traffic and make
me more sales!

The same article on my site was down around page 5 or 6 with the
search engines, that’s because at the time my site only had a PR
of 2.

3) This is the bit I really like, if you produce a good
interesting article that’s well written and appealing to others
then these people will use your article for their news letter or
for content on their site.

When people use your article that they have found on a directory
they must leave your link in tact, this means that you can
quickly get lot’s of good backlinks to your site and improve your
page rank all this from 1 article.

I had one article that I put on EzineArticles.com that gave me
63 backlinks to my site in just 3 weeks, how long would it take
you to get this amount of “relevant” links to your site and how
much work would it take!

Make no mistake about it, this is the quickest method I know to
getting more web site traffic to help your online business, do
yourself a favour and get writing now 1 article per week will do
more for your business than all the other things put together
trust me if your looking to increase your web site traffic this
is how to do it.

Why Internet Marketing Just WORKS

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers – as we do – and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

Business Staying Power: One Example

Someone has well said that the two most important rules of business are: 1) Stay in business; and, 2) Don’t forget rule number one. You cannot serve your market if your business fails. A good way to learn lessons about staying in business is to study those who have done it.

SodaStream was established in 1903. Giles Gilby invented a carbonation system; it made fizzy water from standard water, and was originally marketed to the upper classes. In the 1920s, new flavours were introduced. These included cherry ciderette and sarsaparilla. It enjoyed widespread success in the 1970s and 80s, becoming a big hit in countries such as the UK, Germany and Australia.

The company underwent numerous changes in ownership, at one point even being part of the Cadbury Schweppes empire. 1998 was the year the company changed hands for the final time when purchased by Soda Club, which at that time was the biggest supplier of SodaStream to Israel. SodaStream remained the name of the brand after Soda Club’s unsuccessful bid to change the name to Soda-Club.

More recently Soda Club sought to spur new interest in the SodaStream brand. SodaStream was relaunched along with a new machine and many more new flavours, concentrating on being a healthy alternative to fizzy, sugar-rich drinks such as Coca Cola and Pepsi, and focused on health and diet issues so prevalent in this day and age.

Fundamentally, the SodaStream product is a home carbonation kit, which allows you to change water into sparkling water, as well as allowing you to add low-calorie flavours such as cola and orange. A large assortment of calorie-free flavours to flavour sparkling water to great taste is sold at allfreightfree.com.

Here’s how the SodaStream machine works: it forces co2 into a water-filled bottle suitable for pressurising. The water is turned into sparkling (carbonated) water by the co2. This process (dissolving co2) is known as carbonation. The carbonated water can then be drunk on its own as sparkling water, or mixed with flavours to create tasty, healthy treats. Once the co2 canisters have been used up they can be sent back to Soda-Club who recycle the canisters by refilling them with co2 then sending them back out.

As far as the actual health and diet benefits gained from drinking SodaStream, it is claimed that all their flavours are completely sugar-free and contain a maximum of 2 calories per 100ml; no doubt this is good news for any parent concerned about a child’s diet.

The SodaStream machine adds only co2 to the water, meaning it does not have the added sugar that some bottled sparkling water contains, so there is little difference between it and normal water.

SodaStream have made much of their environmental and health credentials, going so far as to claim that each litre bottle of SodaStream saves three aluminum cans. Which in turn means that over 3 years, a family of four could slash their soft-drink-related packaging usage by over 90%. This is an arresting claim, one that in this environmentally conscious age will stand them in good stead. It is clear that Sodastream has developed into a realistic alternative to the big players in the soft drink world.

Each year thousands of new businesses are started, and thousands of others are closed. By analyzing a business history like SodaStream’s we can identify qualities and strategies that might help our own businesses survive.

How to Blog for Profit

Customize Your WordPress Dashboard

Blogging is not just a form of self-communication, it’s also an excellent way to make money online. If you’re new to blogging and yet want to start quickly, there are several business models you can try for maximum results in a short time. This article discussed the three most popular methods.

The first method is get paid to blog. Create your blog and add a few decent articles as the content. Then you signup with paid blogging networks like Pay Per Post or Review Me and see what “opportunities” are available. These networks are filled with advertisers looking for blogger who can help them spread the word, and they are willing to pay. Accept the opportunity, write about it on your blog, and you get paid.

The second method is WordPress and AdSense and it requires a little more technical know-how. You need to build a WordPress blog on a specific niche topic, and start writing some good content on it. Once you’re done, leave comments on other blogs to get some important one-way links. The objective is to get more traffic who will click on your AdSense ads and make you money.

The third and most sophisticated method is affiliate marketing with WordPress blogs. Again, you set-up a good WordPress blog but with this model the amount of content you publish is not as important as the “selling quality” of the content. Each post you write must pre-sell the web visitor and convince him to click on your affiliate links. When the visitor makes a purchase online after that, you get credited for the sale and earn commissions.

Ultimately, which model you choose depends on how much time and resources you can dedicate to creating and managing your blogs. If you’re new, you should choose a low-investment model and compensate by spendingmore time on it. When you get the hang of it, you can venture into other blogging models as well.

Internet Marketing Online -In Depth Help

Website Promotion Video

So what is Viral Marketing? It’s really just a method to get your message out to as many people as possible by word of mouth. In other words the idea is to spread your message much like a computer virus spreads.

“Infection” in this case though is a good thing; in this context it’s people becoming aware of you and your website.

Now the actual message can be in many formats, from an email, a video, an audio file, and more. The idea is to get people who already have your message to spread it to people they know, multiplying your message spreading exponentially.

Firstly, Let me make it crystal clear that I am not talking about sending out Spam to millions of email addresses. Apart from the legalities of doing this, sending spam is just crazy, because it is not wanted, and is certainly not going to spread is it, and after all if it makes it past the spam folders and actually makes it into someones Inbox, it’s just going to get deleted when it is read isn’t it (that’s if it even gets read).

Here we go with what seems the topical phrase of all my articles, “Relevant Great Content”. Yes nothing has changed, you need to give value to people who have received your message so that a) they may want to take action with it, and b) forward it on to other people.

So how can we get people to do this? How do we get people to actually pass on your message to someone else?

First things first, it has to be something relevant and useful. In other words it has to have value, wether real or perceived. The person who has received your message has to believe it will give value to someone else (and/or them!) before they will pass it on.

One thing I have found in this industry is the power of partnerships; it’s a lot easier to get you message out there if you have friends in the industry with large mailing lists of their own.

Lets pretend you have released a new e-book. You currently have a mailing list of 1000 people who have expressed an interest or actually purchased something from you in the past.

Your e-Book is, of course in a related niche so you feel sure you can generate some interest in your mailing list so that is the first place to attack.

Now you do have an affiliate program in place don’t you? Read up on the details of why you need an affiliate program in the affiliate article, as this is a vital step because decent affiliates will market your product to their mailing lists and contacts, and this is the power of viral marketing!

When starting to look more at viral marketing campaign; it pays to do a little research first as a good way to move forward fast!

Let’s say you have 100 affiliates and each have 1000 customers on their mailing lists. Suddenly you have leveraged on your affiliate and your message is broadcast to 100,000 people in addition to your 1000 people in your mailing list.

Taking it to the next level imagine if your affiliates have affiliates of there own, see how the numbers can grow exponentially?

Now this example is about affiliates, but there is also no reason with the right message that you can’t get your customers doing the work of the affiliates by forwarding your message on to their friends.

In these cases the primary motive is not making money, but it may be because they think your product is great and a friend would benefit from it, or they just think it’s cool and want to tell the world.

Ahhh the power of word of mouth advertising, I tell you there is no more powerful force in advertising then getting your customers telling their friends how cool, hip and fantastic you and your products are (I’m sure you’ve told all your friends about me, haven’t you?).

If you can get customers telling your friends about your product and then once they sign up they tell their friends well you can see that it will take no time at all to have a huge response to your message!

You’ll be needing to buy new servers for your website because the old one has melted with the overwhelming traffic you have received (did you like how I got a reference to my website in between the valuable content?).

Ok Tim, I hear you saying I get the message that this Viral stuff may be handy, but how can I actually use this stuff on my site.

Well firstly, a great technique I used is included in with the master Mike Filsaimes Butterfly Marketing product this has Viral Software included for people who can easily pass on information about your site to other people. They actually automatically get a box to enter friends email addresses, etc.

Pretty well no other method will get you more traffic than Viral traffic because let’s face it, Viral traffic is effectively word of mouth advertising (assuming you have set it up properly). Some of the coolest sites on the Internet exist and grow in member sizes every day due to these techniques.
